Raised in Caruthersville, Missouri—deep in the Bootheel along the Mississippi River—I learned the value of public service from my parents. My father, Mike, served as county prosecutor for 35 years and as municipal judge for nearly a decade. My mother, Glenda, dedicated 35 years of service to the children of our community through teaching elementary education. Their influence shaped my work ethic and my desire to lead through service.

I am a proud father to one son, and he is the heart of this business. He is not just the "Son" in our name; the care and commitment I have as a father form the foundation of Hazel and Son Senior Home Safety. I built this company to bring that same level of devotion to every home I serve. My promise is simple: I treat your family like my own.

Beyond my commitment to family, I bring a unique blend of business strategy and clinical precision to the aging services industry. As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Certified Dementia Practitioner, I understand the complexities of aging. I am also a certified Senior Home Safety Specialist®, Grab Bar Specialist™, and Aging in Place Home Safety Advisor™.

My academic background includes a Master of Health Administration (UAMS) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (UCA). Before focusing on older adult populations, I spent years honing my skills in organizational performance and leadership. Today, I leverage that experience to advocate for seniors, ensuring they remain safe, independent, and dignified in the homes they love.
